One of the best things about what we do is meeting really interesting people.  Take Mr. Chung here, for example.  In addition to being in his 90’s and painting beautiful pictures (He’s done work for Olivia Chow’s Chinese New Year greeting card!), he volunteers at University Settlement on a regular basis.
We were asked to interview him for a storytelling project and spent the better part of the morning, learning about his life in Post-war Hong Kong to his eventual immigration to Toronto.  And then we shared slices of oranges!  Who could ask for more?
Cheers,

Hitoshi & Vince

About:

Hello Foto is the collaboration of Vincent Luk and Hitoshi Murakami in their effort to present their vision of photography and its possibilities. As an idea, Hello Foto stems from their personal philosophy that beauty in all its form can be found everywhere and anywhere. All it takes is a different perspective, open mind and perhaps, a little bit of courage to reach out and grab it.
