CONTACT A GO-GO!

So everything’s set and ready to go for Contact and we couldn’t be happier with the group of people we have participating this year!

Drum roll please….

In fact, we have so many people interested in participating with us that we’re going to have TWO exhibitions for May!  We don’t want to give out all the details but there’s an amazing group of people from all over the WORLD who are going to be showing their work with us!

“Sorry, did you say all over the WORLD?”

Yup!  But that’s all we can divulge for now.

In other news!

After days of hanging, printing, editing, cropping, aligning, coffee drinking and general running around, University Settlement opened their doors and although the weather wasn’t exactly the most accommodating there was a fantastic turn out.  In addition to the photo essay we put together, we also created a series of video shorts detailing some of the tradition Chinese arts that are taught at 23 Grange rd.  Once we find out how to post them we’ll put them up.

That’s it for now!  Bundle up if you’re in Toronto!  It’s wet and chilly!

Cheers,

-Hitoshi & Vince

About:

Hello Foto is the collaboration of Vincent Luk and Hitoshi Murakami in their effort to present their vision of photography and its possibilities. As an idea, Hello Foto stems from their personal philosophy that beauty in all its form can be found everywhere and anywhere. All it takes is a different perspective, open mind and perhaps, a little bit of courage to reach out and grab it.
